About the Space Center, Space and Brevard…Save Constellation Video!

Ok, I will probably loose a few subscribers from this post…so be it.

I have been a Brevard resident for 50+ years and I watched the very beginning of Space Exploration when they started testing rockets before they put anything live into a rocket.  As a child I remember watching the first test rockets explode in the sky’s over Brevard County.  We got it right and put a man on the moon and built a Space Station!  Now years later after putting men on the moon and building a Space Station our president has decided to stop funding Space Exploration. 

This not only saddens me but it scares the hell out of me. 

Space Exploration not only affects Brevard County and thousands of jobs here locally, it also affects 10′s of thousands of jobs and businesses around the nation.  We are talking serious unemployment here in a time where it is at an all time high.  We are talking about setting technology back for years to come.  Why not stop all the give away programs to those who are not from our country.  Why not stop funding all the banks who created the mess we are in now and are continuing to prosper and grow from those who are struggling in this economy (see previous post).  Why not stop giving politicians huge retirement benefits, they get paid very well while they are in office and it is an honor and a privilege to server our great country.  Our president and the other 544 leaders of this country are going to bring US to our knees if they continue on their present course.
