There is something very interesting happening with the Brevard County real estate market….

Ok, in January of 2011 there were over 5200 single family homes for sale here in Brevard County.  When we were at the peak of the busted bubble and everyone was trying to bail out in 2007 or so, we had over 6000 single family homes in our inventory.

Now we all know about supply and demand right…when the supply is high values tend to fall, when the supply is low values should at least stabilize or improve…

So, for all you buyers that are still sitting on the fence, you may be about to miss the best buyers market in your life time!

Right now there are only 3245 single family residential homes active for sale in the Brevard county MLS!   This is getting very close to the numbers we usually were running in a “normal” market.  The supply of homes has almost dropped 40% since the first of the year!  And to top it off when I just did a search for foreclosures I only found around 230 or so available for sale and short sales were down to around 750 homes.

I have notice a huge increase in showings and activity on homes I have had listed for a very long time…this means buyers are finding it difficult to find good homes to purchase….sellers listen up now is the right time to get serious about selling your home too!!
